I have an inherent drive to create. I thrive on finding ways to put odd pieces together in unusual and functional ways, all the while balancing utility and simplicity. I draw upon my foundation in graphic design and fine arts to develop aesthetics that suit my purpose and that of my projects. I welcome the opportunity to experiment and try something new.

 

I love working with wood and drool over beautifully finished furniture. I am quite good at developing 3D models, and 3D printing pairs with that nicely. I adhere to K.I.S.S. and my favorite color is obviously teal. 

 

I was named after former Seattle Symphony Conductor Rainer Miedel, not the beer or the mountain. Sadly, I am not much of a musician.
